English II Journal (Utopia Development)

In your opinion, what is the best way government can be organized? What elements of rule, law, and order must be preserved for a society to thrive? In two-to-three paragraphs, outline a government or system and explain how it will thrive.

  1. The best way a government can be organized is that everyone has and knows their specific place of assisting one another. Unlike before, we are not technically born to be in a specific class system, but rather born to be able to work for our own future and needs. The government usually nurtures the people, giving them what they want. Why not have everyone grow up to be a certain age, and choose what they want to do for their community? This way, not only a certain handful of people are relied upon to serve their neighbors. Laws will be based upon what needs to happen in the community, and what the people deem to be necessarily implanted in the law system. If there are common crimes, there will be a detailed law regarding the consequence of someone doing the crime as well as the general ruling towards it.
The way we vote for a candidate should still be the same. Let the people choose who they want as a leader, but don't let their level of education or rank in prosperity define who they are. Services of the fire department or hospital would be free. A community is a group of people working together to better serve one another. Why make them pay over $1,000 for a stay at the hospital or using the ambulance service? There will be closed court hearings. In this way, the community decides who is guilty or not by LISTENING to what the person has the say, rather than deciphering that person's status based on their looks.
There will be equal rations of food and other daily essentials. Tax will be charged equally amongst people, and everyone will be ensured a job that pays ample money to reach the tax requirements. Regardless of the situation the tax will be used for public works and facilities, such as public schools, libraries, soup kitchens, as well as bridges and public transportation. Once a month, specific government officials will hold meetings regarding what needs to be fixed with the ruling or in the states.

  2. A best way a government can be organized is if he and the people can communicate well to make a strong healthy community. For instance, how our economy is very low right now and for the rest of how many years probably, we can help one another. By lowering crime and assault cases. Better structured buildings and up grade on road systems. I know how taxes and bills are very high now a days but another way we can collect money is by having a walk for change, like how many marathons we'd be collecting a good amount of money, if we had that and that the government lowered the tax rates.
About laying off people from their jobs, the government should find a way to prevent that from happening. The more we lay off people, our homeless ratio will increase higher and higher, so the government needs to find a solution to that issue. We want less people on the streets and more people in houses. Taking sports and clubs away from school can be a huge issue for not only for the school but as for the students, a majority of students would not look forward in coming to school for taking away the schools privileges like sports. Most likely students will soon drop out because of that issue. The government needs to soon set up a meeting on how to fix all these problems to make a better, healthy environment to the economy.

  3. The best way to organize a government is to keep the lines of communication open. Let the people speak to their elected officials without having armed men surrounding him or her so that the citizens feel that they are really being heard. Allow citizens to speak about issues they see in their community and allow them to propose ways to resolve these issues. Right now our economy is in a proverbial rut. Officials have tried and tried but have yet to improve it.The terrible economy has cause a multitude of companies to shut down or has made it hard for business owners to keep their employees. If citizens, the people this is affecting the most, had the ability to voice their opinions than maybe we would be debt free or at least have a stronger economy.
We should still have the ability to vote for our leaders because it has worked for hundreds of years but I think that everyone should be able to run for president, not just politicians. If an actor from Austria can competently lead a state for eight years then why can't any average Joe have the opportunity to run our country? They might understand better than anyone else that our taxes are too high, our crime rate is too high, our unemployment rate is too high and our national debt is too high because they have felt the affects.
Also, tax money should go to things our nation really needs: schools, public transportation, libraries, homeless shelters and community centers. Not into the pockets of greedy politicians. School budgets are being cut every year and the cuts have made it so that students are no longer able to have sports. Having sports programs make it possible for children to build character and stay off the streets after school.

  4. The best way to organize a government is by placing people in what they do best, such as math, science, or medical. By being placed into something they are good at, they will not have to stress about completing their quota. It would be the government’s job to distribute resources according to the labor done by a citizen, no one person accumulating large amounts while others starve. The even distribution of resources creates unity in communities.
The proper way to decide the government leaders would be by an election. They would explain their qualifications to the public to help them understand who is trying to help them. Knowing who leads them causes loyalty from the community giving them strength. The chosen leader would be subject to use at least one day out of the week to hear public concerns.

  5. Austin Chow,
Honestly, I have no idea what a great organized government look like, which is another reason why I shouldn't be a president of anything when I grow up. There are many different forms of government, in this world, and they all have something really good, and special about it. However, they also have a lot of special problems to deal with. So I think the best government, is no government, or if the government has little control over us. When there is a too strong of a government, we are forced to live into this government, which causes a lot of stress to many people. If the government was more loose, and there sort of wasn't one, then people would feel happier living here. I am not sure if this has ever been tested. If it does, I hope it will work out. Also, if a country decides to take us over, we would feel stronger as a community than if we were controlled, because we wouldn't care that much. Like I said earlier, every government has their good, and bad, pros, and cons. For this type of government, I believe that the con should be that some people will take advantage of this freedom, and do something crazy, and the whole city, state, or country will be chaotic. For example, if Oakland was changed to this type of government, it would look really messed up by now, but maybe in another city, the people might actually give a crap about this, and feel great about their freedom. This is just an idea. I'm pretty sure, that this won't work out, because you have to be good, and convincing Obama. And again, I am not the best in making great decisions, and innovations for others. This is just an idea.

I think the best way a government should be organize is through a source of leader or “elders” in times of hardship, however they will not have any power but advice . Government should be fair and rational. Governments should think through all the possibility and outcomes of its decisions. That’s the stupid reason our current “government has the problems it does now . A rule people have to remember is not everyone is the same and That’s the main flaw in our government because our government constantly tries to make us all think, act and feel the same way when science proves that each person is their own individual . And sadly most people fal for this curse that the government puts on us. A status of a person shouldn’t be based on how much money or knowledge they have because you can have a person who only went to school up to middle school level and someone who has a master degree in blah blah but which one is going to know more about real life and how hard it is ?

Our government should be concerned about the people and how we are. Welfare is one of those major issue where you feel like “why do you even need to talk about this ? Do you have a brain ?” because That’s honestly how simple it is . To honestly sit here and vote on wether or not people who have let themselves be sick their whole life because they don’t want to deal with the added pressure of bills they cant pay from the hospital has such a simple answer that it’s not even funny. And the layoffs wont make any of our economy better since the people you layoff just gave you extra money to do with the government and what do you do with it ? Do you give it to schools ? No. Do you use it to me ore businesses for our economy ? No. Do you use it on what the government wants and could careless about the people since you think we all feel the same as you ? YES. Even if the government claims that they give us freedom by letting us vote and giving us special laws it really makes no difference because people are people ,and people let greed get the best of them. And so the government has became as if “ii don’t care what you said ,im going to do what I feel is better for me”

I think the government should let citizens handle their lives as they see fit and discard of the thought of violence. Violence is one of the main problems with our government with wether or not its about money or people , there’s always problems . Our education is also one of our problems because education makes it seems like if you don’t go to college then your whole life is going to fail and you’ll never be happy . However just because you never went to college doesn’t mean you just weren’t smart enough or you just didn’t want to but it wasn’t in your interests and you felt like it was necessary for you to lie your life happily. Just because you haven’t been to college doesn’t mean you don’t have a good life it just means (as much as I hate saying this) you don’t have a better life. I think the main thing is that people need to understand their worth in our government and their communities for anything we do to be successful .

  7. The best way to organize a government is by what the people want. Governments should want to make their citizens happy. I would have it so the common people would be able to vote on everything. There would be people who represented the government still but they wouldn't hold any power. They would just put into effect what the people wanted.
I would make everything that can be made in America made in America. This would increase jobs so it would help many people out. People don't like this idea because it means the price of everything would go up but what people don't realize is that we wouldn't notice that price increase because we would be making more money by the products being made in America. We would have more money to pay for the expenses so it wouldn't change anything besides having a lot more jobs.
I would have taxes go to paying teachers in collages so everyone has a fair chance going to collage and learning what they want to learn. The same would be for hospitals. You shouldn't have to pay for your injures or worry about paying for it. The government should care about the health of their people, not having them in dept because they can't pay for their hospital bills. All these things can really help people. That would be a Utopia.

  8. the best way to organize a goverment is to have it where every can reach a decision that is most logical and agreable and have the people vote on the decision. this type of goverment is similar to todays goverment. this is the best way because people that have any other ideas or opinions can share their ideas so their voice wont be unheard. the type of rules that are put in place are that can be benefical to the people and keep them safe. the rules would be based on morals, and ethics. the rules wont be a random simple rule it would be bases on the guide lines.

the type of law that the goverment would have is based on also ethics and probable cause. the law enforcement wont arrest some one for no reason they would arrest someone if what they did is unethical or is called for probable cause to be used. they should be law enforcement because if there wasent there would be chaos because there is always going to be those people that cause trouble. and for the punishment of the criminals it would be that of today they be sent prison based on the severity of there crimes.

this goverment would thrive because if people have there opinions shared and noticed they would not feel that they would not go unheard and cause trouble over it. the rules will help because it is something that people can agree on, rules based on ethics and probable cause. so people wont go on saying they got arrested for no reason. same goes for the rules morals and ethics. if its no right to do then its against the rules.

  9. The best way a government can be organized is to make it a pragmatic, progressive government.
In his book, The Prince, Niccolo Machiavelli makes the point that in order for a government to thrive and succeed, it must do what is necessary and right, not what is idealistic. In this age of rapid changes and tension, our government needs to be able to make the correct decisions. Many times, these decisions will not be popular, but in the long run, they will be the best remedy to a problem. An example of this is in warfare. When it is obvious that a government needs to pull out its army, the popular decision would be to immediately pull out every soldier and return them home; but this would not be the practical solution as it would cause a large spike in violence due to the sudden lack of security forces. The practical solution would be to gradually withdraw your troops, while at the same time training home forces to combat the defense issues of the nation. Not every government decision that is made has to be something the people like. The masses are usually in the right, but many times we can make stupid decisions that are based on our morals or current sentiment, not on what is truly correct. A government based on pragmatic thought would greatly benefit our nation.
Aspects of government and the way we live would change in this new form of government.
Judges in the Judicial system would have more sway over court cases as they interpret whether a criminal's decision was justified. Banks would be under more scrutiny as a result of their bad decisions, which could result in the nationalization of bank if necessary. In education, teachers play the role of judges as their grading is based more on their interpretation on whether a student is learning or not, rather than through static measures such as standardized tests. These methods would create a better gauge on whether the nation is being educated or not, and it will help the government in their reform of education. The economy is something, however, that cannot be controlled. As pragmatism requires a situation to play out first before determining what to do about it, we need to see what is best for the economy first before we make a rash decision such as lowering and raising taxes or making cuts. In general, our lives will be completely different under a government that makes decisions that are based in the best interests of society as whole. Not exactly what society may want, but what will benefit it the best.
A government system like this will require massive effort from the best and brightest in the
nation. These people can move us into a better future of better decision making and serving the needs of society to the best of their efforts.

I believe the best way a governments could be organized is by making laws that are good and safety of society. The government make laws are framed and held inviolate as will secure to each individual. the right and control of property and the protection of life. the most important thing is that the government makes rights and freedoms of individual citizens. They has been made to make small improvements and had successful country for 200 years large changes. The government always improving and changing for the best. People are better informed than the politicians with regard to what is going on in their own lives with their jobs homes and towns and have the knowledge that is being overlooked in the United States.

I think people should have more jobs because if they have no jobs then how will they continue life because with no job means no money so no more food rent or taking care of your family. I be hearing that they are going to cut teachers sports and jobs for what why do they have to do it? People will have to pay more taxes because we need money and its all ready to much because they have to pay gas and its expensive and have to pay food thing you my need and other things. But sometimes its good to do taxes because with that it helps schools streets built new buildings and other. But there realy no best way the government can be organiz is the people who have to be smart to do and ack as if they were one of use and to make thing easier of everyone that cant do.

  11. In my opinion, the best type of government is democracy. Democracy is a type of government in which the citizens of the country has a say in each and every decision a government makes. Just like the one today, but without all of the kinks. This government is the most efficient type because it twists and turns to meet the citizen’s demands. Compared to today’s American government, there is a lot of talk about “conspiracy” which contradicts the whole democracy movement. That makes our government a form of paradox.

Laws are supposed to protect the citizens from each other. If the citizens don’t need protection from each other then there is no need for laws. But everybody knows that is a dream that will never happen. So in my government there will be four main laws. One shall not take another’s property without consent. There shall be no murders between citizens. No sexual contact if one of the two associates disagrees. Obey all the laws provided before. Then there will be other laws that are less important and approved through each province.

This government will sustain because it will be organized very thought out and perfectly. The society will obey to all of the laws. If not great punishment will be forced on. There will not be a person on top. There will be a council that listens to what the citizens says and will find the best solution possible. Also, a secret police will be issued to keep rebellions and reforms from sparking up a full on invasion.

  12. STEFFON WILLIAMS.....In my opinion the best way to organize a government is that everyone has a specific job and area. In order for this to happen and for society to thrive we must persevere a couple of things. First we must overcome racism, sexism, and Darwinism. People should be able to work towards something in society by using some natural skill or knowledge and not be hired by diplomas and graduation status.
People should not be looked at differently if there not as wealthy as someone else. Rules and laws would be necessary and be sensible. Our government and president would be would be voted on as we do now ,the people choose who they want to be leader, and also there would be no tampering with the votes/ballad box, and the laws of society.

  13. In my perspective, the best way to organize a government is by letting people obtain their own controlled power. By using the word "controlled," I mean letting people obtain power, but never let it get out of hand. I think this because there's many people out there who work hard for what they have and want to obtain in life, and they deserve more at times. But for all those people who work hard, there is another group of people who slack off and don't work for anything.

I think that every person deserves every little thing that they have worked for. I'm sure many think the same. Sometimes people work very hard, but still don't reach their goals on a daily basis and they struggle through whatever it is they are going through.

I like the way we choose our leaders. So I'm going to go right ahead and say that it should stay the same. It shows that the person that people elect gives the image of being capable to maintain the government up and running.

There should also be benefits for everyone, no matter what, when it comes to health. There's people who can't always afford their health bills, and it's something sad to hear about. Shouldn't every person have the right to live a healthy life no matter what?

A government should be able to keep their people happy.

  14. The best form of government is where the people have a right to play a part in decision making, under a small government. Revolutions have been caused by unsatisfied citizens who could not have a say in government decisions and replied to that with violence. Having a small government to monitor a large amount of people gives everyone a sense of security, and not over spending on government wages.

The U.S. Democratic Republic is exactly what I would like to keep, because it is a unique form of government which other nations are following. The only problem is that it is also a very large government, composed of several offices and giving out paychecks the country does not need to pay for.

The people also need a Conservative government, by which I mean a government that will fix this massive debt with less spending, bringing back the major corporations, not taxing the rich even more than they already are, and keeping a balanced budget. That is the only way to gt us out of debt and stay out of debt.

The best way a government can be is organized is if there is no king or emperor. It's power to the people because it's the common citizens that make up the population and without the people, there is no city or town or country. The people that actually work and do the things kings and emperors and rulers wont do, are the people that should decide what is best because they're the ones working hard and making everyday life possible.
In order for a society to thrive, there must be rules and laws that all citizens agree with because if the rules and laws are only benefiting the people that make them, then of course the people, the other 99 percent, will be against it. people will want to rebel and fight for what's right. Things like unfair treatment and the crave for change is what usually starts revolutions. Rules like nobody should be judged by the color of their skin or how it's okay to be gay and marry someone you love no matter if you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual etc. People should be what they want to be and be granted the respect they deserve by making and being a part of the rules they have to follow as a society.

  16. I think that the best way to organizing your goverment is not only one time of govt. system, but having an integration of all typres of govt. Most governments have a blind spot or weakness. For example while the USA elects their leaders through the people, it can sometimes lead to the corruption of the politicians. Having a system were people are allowed to make their own decisions, but the government prevents them from getting too radical, to me is the best way to organize a government. People are always supposed to talk to their leaders. They can give out constructive critism, ideas, and feedback in how they run the country. If you don't talk to them then they are going to assume that they are right, even though they're in a depression.
The United States has a good system of checks and balances. That is another way to organize your government. To prevent someone(president or politicain) from getting too powerful, there are many ways to stop them. Also to me the strongest people that are in the government are the common They have unlimited power. They have huge numbers, and they should not let 400 politicians silence the 200 million of them. That's why the people should vote and elect their leaders. The idea of monarchy or anarchy to me are very bad as it silences what the people have to say.
The government should focus on their economy, not foreign countries. They should avoid contact with other countries if their own country is in major trouble. For example, the USA should of got rid of all their troops and sent them back to the USA. They would have saved trillions of dollars, and that could have been used for many things, such as improving their economy, medical health, public constuction, making the people happy etc... The government should be putting their money back to the people. They should organize public buildings for the people, improve health, and build cities. Thats how you organize your govt, through an effective democracy were the people have the most power.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think the best way to structure a government is to equally distribute a voice to the leaders, people who are in office and to the people who are holding up the walls. The people who work the offices are the ones who have the authority to pull the strings, set the rules and boundaries. The people are the ones who make the world api within a city, state, or country. People having different occupations, being more difficult, moderate, or fairly easy, everyone should be payed with the range that would be fair enough for what they deserve. Without doing this, the people may result in protesting for higher wages. An example would be a man who is a fast food worker who doesn't need too much effort to get through the job vs. a man who is making technology who puts in a back breaking effort, and they both get paid the same amount. you can clearly predict who is going to complain he isn't getting paid enough. Greater doings deserve greater rewards.

I also agree heavily with Justin Diza mentioning the United State's checks and balances because we cannot survive in a society where we have a dictator ordering whatever he likes from us. We the people are not classified as working slaves. Not just preventing the ruler or president from treating us as slaves, but we also have the checks and balances to protect ourselves from any dramatic spontaneous orders.

If my idea of a well organized government was to not last, then i guess our society would continuously transition from giving power to the people to giving it to the office leaders. It does satisfy the few people, but may we ever get to an equilibrium of power?

    - Marquis Corpuz, 4th period

  18. I THINK THAT THE BEST WAY GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE ORGANIZED IS BY THE WAY GOVERNMENT HAS COMMUNICATION WITH THE CITIZENS THE CITIZENS SHOULD BE ABLE TO TALK TO THE GOVERNMENT ABOUT HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT WHAT THE GOVERNENT IS DOING WITH THE UNITED STATES.

THE GOVERNMENT ALSO SHOULD BE ORGANIZED WITH LETTING THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA AND THE UNITED STATES VOTE BEFORE THEY CAN CHANGE ANYTHING BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE MUCH MORE BETTER SO THAT WAY THEY WOULD KNOW THAT EVERYONE IS OK WITH THEIR CHANGES SO THEN NO ONE WILL BE UPSET ABOUT THE CHANGES IN THE UNITED STATES.

ONE MORE REASON IS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HIDE ANYTHING FROM THE UNITED STATES WHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE SOMETHING IN THE UNITED STATES TO KEEP THE PEACE WITH EVERYONE IT WOULD BE SO MUCH MORE EASIER TO THAT WITH THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES

  19. The best form of government would be a government that has very little control over the people, the main purpose of the government would be to maintain the economy balanced and the distribution of products equal throughout the country(and not only the basics, have a little excess). It should have a justice system that can actually serve justice, no corruption, no excuses. No favoritism either, there shouldn’t be any social statuses. There should be enough food and clothing for everyone. There should be more shelters set up for the homeless. But, a government which provides for and helps keep control in the government doesn’t have to make so many unnecessary laws that have very little, if any, relation with how society flows. Every state should have the same norms, supplies, and opportunities.
A few things that should be kept in the government such are courts, governors, and education systems of course. There has to be some rules but very few and very basic, no murdering, no kidnapping, no rape, no abuse, etc. There should be limits in age and quantity but, only when there is a serious risk and danger. The people should be allowed to be independent. Nobody should be left behind. Everyone deserves to eat and have a bed to sleep on. Everyone should have the right to vote and have a part in the decision the country makes. A government should help its citizen and all those living in the government, not by making all people low class, not by making some high class and others low class, there should be no class. The government should make sure that everyone has the basic necessities, food, clothes, beds, employment and education. Once the people are given those necessities, then the people are free to either live off that or move up and accomplish more than the basic. A government should helps its people, not just label them.

  20. The best way to organize a government is to have no government. Yes I am talking about anarchy and no I don’t mean blowing up things and setting things on fire. I am talking about a peaceful and productive society with anarchy at its center. The government controls everything and tells us how to do things. Why should someone from the government tell teachers how to teach? Teacher should have the freedom to teach as they deem fit, since they are the ones that studied to be teachers not the government. Another thing is only the government has tried to censor the internet. Why? Because they were bought out by the people over at Hollywood who were losing money because of the piracy that was happening. Some people didn’t even know what the internet was, so why were they voting to censor something they don’t understand themselves. The government causes corruption, with people going in with the best intentions and then being twisted and paid off to vote for something they might not entirely believe in. We need to move forward and get rid of anarchy we could focus on more important things. Imagine all the things that could have been done, but haven’t because the government said no. Maybe there was an experiment that was deemed immoral or illegal by the government but what if this experiment caused a breakthrough in medicine and created a cure for cancer or made us immune. We might need to lose a bit of humanity for the greater good. Also think of the all the things the government has done. Oh yeah drop a nuke on Japan totally ok. Thanks to the government we have gone to war. Unfortunately the true motives of anarchism will never be met. Why? Because humans are too greedy, always want more of everything. If we all worked together we might have been able to achieve world peace by now.

The best way a government should be organized is where everyone has their own place to go and then another. And the community should communicate and have a say in what is going to happen so that way the community could be strong and healthy.
Some of the rules and law that should be established in a community should be on what the community th9inks that should help and benefit them. I mean if the community has the power to choose their own rules and laws I think that would be good for the community because the community is now able to make up what they want and what could be established in the community. Also if the community has the power they could establish what can they use for money or if they want they could trade. In this way the community could thrive but also it could fall it only depends on the community. They could either help each other or make their community strong or they could let it be turned into chaos and let it be destroyed.

In my opinion the best way a government can be organized is for the people to have a say but for a great leader to direct everything. People being left to decide for themselves has proved to be insufficient. A leader who is dedicated and one cares about the people is crucial. If people have a good leader they will thrive.

A government similar to the U.S works well enough. Rules, law and order are tremendously vital to a society flourishing. People must be lead and organized, if not everything will fail. If people are left to fend for themselves in society it would end horribly. Rules and laws must be implemented. A government system where every officer is voted for the people would work well. If the people of a society are satisfied, everybody will be happy and content. People as whole must be able to collaborate and work well together and that is a perfect example of a government that will prosper.

A government where people are not defined by their title but rather their level of education and efficiency is ideal. Healthcare would be one hundred perfect free for everybody and nobody will ever be denied the service of anyone in the medical field. Medical workers will be paid with tax more rather than by patients. Court cases would handled by an impartial jury and judge. Racism will not exist in this society. There will be an adequate amount of food for every citizen no matter the circumstances; whatever you need to survive you will be given to you. The amount of taxes you will be charged with will depend on your income due to the fact that taxes will pay for healthcare. There will be no wars paid for with hardworking, tax payer money. Law enforcement will be able to keep the peace no matter what and the law will be equal for everyone.

I believe that the government we have now is the best. The problem is that we are wasting time and money on the wrong things. For example, the government wasting time and money on space projects and not on the poor people. Like Tupac said,"They got money for wars, but can't feed the poor."

Another problem is the one we talked about in class. The rich has no sympathy for their own kinds. The rich only thinks of themselves. We need to share the money because sharing is caring but i forgot they don't care.

Therefore, i believe our government is the best, but the people running it is controlling the people. That's why i believe our government is the best.

  24. The government must be organized and structured. It was originally meant to be (a government by the people and for the people). If the structure is fair and equal it will provide a fair and equal treatment of all people regardless of the economic or the race of the people.
Rules, law and order must be set and clearly defined in the organization in any system that is set up. The three components above should go hand and hand, people must obey the rules set forth and have order in a society for that society to function. If the above are not meant, the laws are broken and society fails its citizens.
If rules are followed the citizen is allowed to stay and function productively in the society. If rules are broken it’s understood that the citizen would be banished from the society.

I think the best way of government would be a government were all people are equal were no one has a higher rank were no one has the authority to demand anyone else so that the people can run around the town freely with out having to worry about not having enough money or food to feed there family. i think they should have more benefit for the people although i agree that some of stuff should be keep in our government such as our education system. i also think that our government should talk more with the people and get there opinion on some of the problems we have here in our country instead of just taking there action how ever they want.

  26. I believe our current system of democracy is the best way to organize a government because it allows everybody to have a say in what happens.
It is good because its not like a dictatorship where everybody is ruled by one person.I think also that voting is a big part of democracy because it gives everyone a equal right to choose what they want.
Dictatorship isn't right because its not good to have one person rule the world without giving people a right to vote on what they want to see change.

In order for a society to thrive is for everybody to feel like they had a equal chance.Without that people might get mad that they didnt have a say in anything and that wouldnt help a society thrive with everyone being negative and in a bad mood all the time.It needs to be structured and fair for everybody that is living in it.No one should be left unequal thats why having a democracy is a great thing.Everyone has a equal chance to be heard.

I think that the government now is pretty good. They just think of the wrong uses to spend the money instead of helping one another. The government should also listen to the voice of its citizens to ensure that issues in the country are fixed or at least tweaked a bit. The government should use all their resources wisely because we won’t have these things forever.

The rules are great in all, but this time in this century we are in a bad economy. Everyone should all contribute to help out their community and even their country. People shouldn’t be ignorant and cause crimes so commonly because they are not the only ones who can be affected. All these little issues are a major factor to the reason why we are in a gap.

  28. A democracy is the best type of government. We are lead yet not entirely. There are people to judge the leader's decision. There is those to hear us, the people and we are allowed to vote for what we believe in.When I hear of how citizens of other countries are treated, I think of how if they had a democracy to have that one small voice that leads to a majority's message it would not be this way.

In a democracy we are "equal" in a way. Equal as in that everyone must follow the law regardless of who you are. We are for the people and ran by the people by elected representatives. We will thrive by reminding it is for the people. That politicians and representatives would know what their job is and who is really running the country, the people, the citizens that are running the country. That they are just representing it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The best way government can be organized is by everyone knowing there spot of their job and also knowing what they are doing. They can communicate easily by giving out notices to the people so they can know what is going on in the government. And they can also ask their citizens to add in thing s if they want to because if I was part of the government I will love to hear about my citizens because one without them I will of never got to the point where I am. And also it is better to hear about the citizens of your country instead of struggling all by yourself. They can also help you assist one another because there are a lot of people out there that have skills they never want to show to anyone. Also I will make my government system by letting the citizens of my country have freedom of speech and freedom of religion because I will never judge a book by its cook before even knowing anything about that person. Also my idea foe my citizens to have the right of freedom of speech came from having people cooperate with my government any give all their ideas and comments they have about the economy or anything else.

  30. I believe that the best way to organize the government is if our system is arranged to be a democracy. In this way, the people would have control on what goes on in their country because it will effect their lives. There should also be a leader to help direct the people in order for the government to be organized. If not, everyones opinions and thoughts would clash and a war might break out. I think that a leader, or leaders, is neccessary for a society to thrive.

There should be leaders from each social class at every important meeting in the capital. Although we say that we dont have social ranks anymore, the truth is that we do. And that fact is beginning to become very lucid these days. We see the working class bust their butts of working hard to feed their families while the rich takes a trip to Hawaii and get a free massage. History is repetative. We have seen this type of government before in our history class and we know how it ends. Rebellion and then the government gets overthrown. Then the rebels take power and try to make everything equal for pople and whatnot. But they get power hungry and become corrupt. And so the pattern begins again.

In truth, we cannot EVER create a perfect governmental system. As Mr. Lucero said in class once, "How can we create a perfect government when we're not even perfect?" The answer is we can't. But we can establish a working government that pleases everyone, not just the wealthy. I think that it would be a good idea if a member of each class has a say on the rules being made in the government. This way we can become an almost equal society.

The best way a government can be is one that everyone votes and that have equal rights. Who would want to live under a dictator, because for sure I don’t? Everyone needs some type of freedom, because sooner or later America going to be controlled by the whole Government and people are not going to be able to buy things without some type of micro chip in there body. You call that freedom? My ideal government is that our people will voice there opinion more and will get a say in the choices in the economy. I believe that a democratic government is the best way to go because everyone has a part, and there voices are being herd somewhat.

I wouldn’t want my kids growing up under a government that will control the people; I want them to be in a government that allows them to speak out without getting arrested or not herd at all. I would want every citizen to have an equal amount of health care, education, and some type of job that fits their skill level and ability. The government should tax oil companies so that the government will have more money to give to schools and places of recreations. Education hours should be dropped because kids cant learn six subjects at a time in 8 hours and have a three months semester period and expecting them to know the book like the back of there hand. The minds are not even fully developed yet.

The law enforcements can’t arrest a person because of their skin color, or how they look while their driving. The law enforcements shouldn’t be allowed to pull over anybody because of how they look or anything like that. One of the policies that should be demanded is “Eye for an Eye” for example like if you murder someone; you will lose your life as punishment. I believe our crime level will drop dramatically and people wouldn’t be scared to even walk down the street and wont have the thought in there head that any second now and I can be shot and killed instantly.

  32. The demoracy is the best way government can be organized. By democracy citizens have an obligation to become informed about public issues. In democracy you have the right to vote for what you belive in. We are all equal since we all have to follow the same laws.

The way this will thrive is if all citizens would vote on elections. Each citizen should listen to the views of the different parties and candidates and vote wisely on thier decision. But by thier participation each citizen must keep in mind to be peaceful and respectful of the law.

  33. The best way a government can be organized is our system should be arranged as people's rights. Meaning everyone could have a saying about anything that happens in our country. Everything should run through the people at least all the big changes that might occur. there should be people that are so good w/ a specific position to keep everything organized. who would want a unfair type of government? no one does. so we should just have everyone vote on what they think is the best for this country. though we somewhat already have that i think we should just expand it.

This type of government can benefit for the future of our kids. & the future in general. we all wouldn't want a government that makes every decision for us. of course we want a decision that runs through us.

  34. I agree with Finau and believe that the government is great, if it weren't for the government we have now, what would it be like? A communism country? In my own opinion, I think that it isn't fair that all of the hard-workers in business offices, who took their time to study in high school and not fool around like the other hard-workers who didn't take their time to study in high school that decided to go out, have fun, and party, has the same pay check. Our government provided us with public schools, hospitals, police departments, fire departments, etc. But the only flaw, is that they are in huge debt for spending/buying unnecessary things, instead of keeping the gas prices low and keeping the jobs of teachers and a lot of other workers. Otherwise, the government to me, is satisfactory.

This government would be great for my kids to live in, because it provides them with health care, protection, and everything they need, me personally thinks that we as a nation are spoiled, while other nations are suffering. Although, I would like my son or daughter to have a good education with excellent teachers and a job for them in the future.

  35. In my opinion I believe a government should be organized in a democracy fashion like India, this way the citizens who are eligible to vote for their government may do so which is the majority of the population. Right now our economy is a mixed economy but since our economy is really bad right now I lean more to being a socialism economy benefiting the citizens more than the large industries. Socialism is the government owning many of the large industries which the industries do not want but that is because they are not thinking about us, the people. With the economy being socialism the government provides the citizens with health, education, and welfare while allowing us some economic choices.

In order for a society to thrive it will not just depend on the citizens if we were a democracy but on the government of making the right decisions. I believe that recently our nation has not made any wrong or unfair laws which is leaning away from socialism but still the majority of the population are the citizens, therefore we should be making our own laws. The laws we have right now seem to be fair to me but again the majority should be the ones making these laws. Even though democracy does not directly let the people make their laws it gives them a chance to pick who makes the laws for them, the government, which makes it evened out.

  36. Amany Jama,
The best way fit to run a government in my opinion is base the laws and rules on seeing if it will benefit the citizens/people. The government is run for the people so we have to contribute an even playing field. We need to ameliorate the government in order for the citizens to gain something from the government. The people should run the government because they are the ones who are affected the most. If the people do run the government we will have to put in place a person who can help lead them in the right direction. Otherwise all the people will disagree and all that comes out of it in the end is chaos.
We need a leader who does not dictate the people but just help them obtain equality among the people, a person who is an aficionado in equality. We will have everyone’s voice be heard in order to find new ways of governing. The people should be able to vote for who they want to lead them and what laws they prefer to follow. There shall be no age limit on who can vote because no matter what everything that goes on effects the people. A necessity that also should be a requirement is that the Capital and goods are distributed evenly among the people instead of it going into the governments’ pockets. All the tax that is collected will be used to help schools, city construction and any other thing that will help the community. There will be no more secrets in the government everyone will have a voice and right. Once this happens we can make changes to help the people to the best of our abilities.

  37. The best form of government is to have 3 branches and each branch puts in enough work as the others. Much like today's government in the U.S. With that being said, no branch can be stronger than the other. Which makes it impossible to have a dictator. I believe this is this best form of government because the 3 branches share the work that must be done.
It is very hard leading a country by yourself, so that is why we have 3 branches; The President, Congress, and Supreme Court. Congress makes the laws and they vote on whether to keep it or delete it. Then they have to get votes from the other branches to make sure it's a good law. If they didn't do that, many laws would exist today that could be nonsense.
Our President, is head of the goverenment, but he is a leader not dictator. He shares his power among his fellow Vice President and other 2 branches. Thus eliminating an all powerful dictator. In the past dictators have been corrupted which soon after a revolution occurs for the unfairness that was bestowed upon the people.
The Supreme Court justifies all major cases that must be dealt with and gave a say whether to vote on taking out a law. The Supreme Court is a very important branch much like the others. The most major and important cases they have to be judged are justified by them. Which includes an abundance of cases like; Taxes, Murders, Laws, Teen Violence, Homosexual rights, etc.
Without this form of government many governments have fallen. It eliminates dictatorship which in thepast has been corrupted and thus leading to war. It also eliminates unfairness among a capitalistic mindset. Where everyone can have an equal chance to move up in the world/class. With that being said, I believe a 3 branched government is the best form of government.

Citizens will control the government. there will be free education and healthcare. there will be no econmy because there is no need for a currency.

This Utopia will only work if everybody works together and no rebellion. this be achieved if there is no leader. everybody will check up with each other. there will also be no military.

i think that the best way that government should be organized is with a strong leader that makes wise decisions. A strong leader is the key to everything, because it keeps order. But also everyone has to do their part. the leader has to make the people happy and give what the people want. communicating with each other is also very important. For the society to thrive the citizens should communicate with their community and the leader to be strong for his/her people.
All people should be equal and have the right to vote. If the people are happy then the leader can be strong. People have the right to have a say on how they live, but not have total control over it because then it will come out horribly wrong.

The perfect way of ruling a country would be more of a communist goverment but no completly people would still have the freedom captalims provides.Every citzen should be equal there would be no poverty that starves people to death there would only be and elte and a middle class.
I belive theres people that are putstanding at very important roles in society, every role is important every job from washing dishes to having ur hands on surgery, but some are more crucial and people work really hard to get there bu the society needs normal people meaning people that would do pretty much any job that will put food on the table.
The goverment the United States has is probably one of the must functional goverment around the world. i dont belive there can be s perfect way of ruling aa country we can try as the US does but it will never be perfect people will never be satisfied theres always goinng to be something wrong.

The type of government I think would be the best for everyone is if there is a leader but he will not be in charge. He will only be in charge of thinking up of laws or if we should think about going to war. I choose this type of government because most people dislike how the government is ruling so far and I am one of them. I think that the people should be the ones making the decisions because all the government does is to make laws that protect themselves not the people.
Another reason why is that the government loves to protect themselves but not schools, the schools sports, the schools educational tools, and even the music, drama, and other programs of that sort. If their is another budget cut of schools then there will be less sports, educational tools, and other programs. That is why I think we should have the people rule so the government will not take school related things away.

My utopia uses a government that allows the people to vote for what they want. Also a person that helps promote the laws. There would be no president or some type of leader. The people will just vote for what they want and just hope they get what they wished for. Most people dont like the government that is here today so we decided that we need to give the people what they want and make them satisfied.
One Other reason why i chose this type of government is that it helps citizens not worry about problems. We have people to help solve our issues that occured so nothing would hurt our city. It can help with schools and their academics. As well as other programs that we may have. These are just some of the many reasons why we chose this type of government. It helps the people as well as the city.

The best way a government can be organized is if the government worked while having the goal of doing what is best for the people and took orders from the people. The government should not attempt to take away the responsibilities of its citizens. The government should work silently in the background. It should allow people to comfortably complain about taxes, but should organize most of the things that keep society running unnoticeably. The energy of a country should come from its people. Everyone gets one voice and they should be free to express their opinion in an civilized fashion against their government and their fellow man in disagreements. Citizens should be the ones who settle and decide things amongst themselves and work for a better world.
The most obvious power of the government should over military, legal and municipal matters. The government must use diplomacy and negotiation to find peaceful ways of protecting its citizens, but the strong backbone of a trained military is necessary to enforce their will as well. The government must do what is necessary. The government should have power to enforce laws, but not the power to change them. The government should in nearly all cases be subordinate to the will of the people. The people should vote for laws themselves after thorough examinations and debates. Then their law will be handed to the government to be enforced and carried out without bias. The government should try to provide the best education for its people. Students should be not be taught to focus entirely on a subject, they should be taught how to think for themselves. They should be taught to work smarter, and not necessarily harder. It is important students be taught to think, learn and to care or else ignorance and apathy will destroy any sort of government. The best form of government is one that encourages its people to get educated and involved, but is also willing to protect and obey its people.

The best way for a goverment to be organized is to have a democratic government and allow citzens to vote. Some rules that definetely have to be in place for this to works is that we must always protect the right to vote, pursuit of happiness, and the right to freedom. Laws that benefit the common citzen like free education, free enterprise system, free to do whatever occupation one should wants. Some elements of order that apply to this type of goverment is the protection or the people and their rights, electing the correct leaders to provide needs of people. These chracteristics of law and order are the essentials for a democratic government. People change, having diffrent wants and needs at diffrent times. The government must be able to improvise, adapt, and overcome to the needs of citizens. If the citizens get what they want then they will respect and follow the government. If the government gives what citzens want, there will be no need for uprisings and therfore keep their position. But if the goverment becomes to tyranical and opresses the people, citizens will wage war with the government. In the end this will only give complete chaos and catashtrophe. To best overt this future crisis, we the people have been given the right to vote for our interpretation of a great leader or goverment official. The simple process of choosing the best person to run a goverment and the goverment giving back to the people is how this society will thrive.

  45. A governmental system that I believe would work the most efficient/best would be where an elected council of leaders lead the nation. The reason for this is that the council would be comprised of 9 different leaders who would be chosen by the people of the nation. And because they were previously citizens, they would understand the problems citizens have in their daily lives. These leaders who make decisions that would affect the nation, such as going to war, deal with natural disasters, or large choices that would affect the people. The people could also address the council with issues they believe should be solved. And all decisions made by the council would be made viewable by the public as well as what they would cause.
The society would function as an economic system but also somewhat communist. People go to school for 13 years and in their 8th and 12th year they take a test that will evaluate what kind of job they should have in the future. And in their 13th year they will choose what job they want and be taught how to do that job. Right after the 13th year, they will have to work. Everyone works and will get paid depending on how important that job is to the society. In the society there is no social class, no high class, no low class, only middle class. The reason for this is since people all have some type of job, no one is going to be in poverty and everyone will have money. This society would function successfully since everyone has a chance of succeeding somewhere and everyone has an opportunity.

The best way to organize a government is to not only have one leader. This ideal government would have three people in power together. This way, significant decisions shall be made rationally and fairly. Those elected should be actual, educated civilians, those who know the true, harsh ways of our current government. They must also have the genuine intention of helping their country's citizens. The fact that the currently rich are only getting richer, would no longer exist. Worthy leaders know how to maintain a stable environment, that which benefits all of its people.
As for the citizens, they must also work for what they believe in. They can't expect things to be handed to them by simply complaining about the government. When people wish to make a suggestion, I believe that they shouldn't have to go through a complicated process just to get their opinion tossed away. There should be a huge staff of advisers just for reading the letters. That way, the sensible and beneficial suggestions actually get heard. Of course, you can't always avoid those arrogant letters, but if they are read, the people will have no reason to complain about "not being heard." Not one opinion shall be left unheard. As for voting rights, I think a major factor in today's political disappointment is the fact that people refuse to even vote. From the age of eighteen to twenty you should be able to choose whether or not you want to vote. But once you turn twenty-one, it is mandatory for you to vote. This law will allow an honest view on government. However, just like any governmental system, there should be some sort of guidance. All in all, a perfect government should be solely based on the people's wants and needs, with the slightest bit of leadership.

  48. Well... based on my perspective, on be half of my mind, according to my calculations. I think the meaning or should i say, the definition of the power of a flag means to Show pride, what territory your on or in other words, who owns this land and even to show what they represent.Country uses flags to show meanings like, for example the American flag. It has 50 stars to represent the 50 states. Also countries uses flags to show people who's territory are you on. Well different flag signs could possibly be a sign of control, or in other words Power. For example the "Nazi" flag. They were taken over, showing and waving the nazi flag as a sign of Power. For Independence, another example like our United States flag. It shows and represent independence. If it wasn't for our founding fathers, then America wouldn't exist today.

I think flags have a major role in power. Flags are used to indicate who they are up against. It shows that when your flag is up that the country is active and still in control. Although Flags can be used in a form of manipulation it is also being used as a symbol of how the people that live upon it see it as. There is no right answer of what a flag is for since the flag is seen throughout many perspective of the the people under it. But the main reason that i think a flag is used for is power and to mark territories.Kind of like an advertisement but bigger. The flag in my opinion doesn't serve for independence because your living upon it. It shows that you are a follower and the flag is used as a manipulation so where is the independence?

A best way to run a government is not having the government hide things from the citizens that live upon their country. The governments job is to keep the country stabled not to hide things from there own people. A Government should look at the citizens perspective but not just theirs. There are many voices out here that are asking for a change but nothing is happening. If the citizens continue to be neglected the system will fall. A Rule that needs to be followed to maintain a good society is to just not discriminate. There should be no hate when all humans are the same. Its not what is in the outside but what is in the inside that makes us all unique but the same. There needs to be a limit to how much money a person can have because there cant be money stacked up in a bank while millions of people are fighting just to live. Everyone should be educated. School should be free but only if u want to get educated. Nobody will force you but if you don't go to school you will have a hard time living.
