English II Animal Farm Journal #1

In your opinion, what is the best way government can be organized? What elements of rule, law, and order must be preserved for a society to thrive? In two-to-three paragraphs, outline a government or system and explain how it will thrive.

  1. In my opinion, the best way a government can be organized is by being flexible and responsive towards the people's needs. The government should be governed by someone that is aware of the world and how things are constantly changing. The rights like freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and just the basics in general from the amendments should definitely be in the system. If the people's voices are not heard and their needs are not met, there will eventually be rebellions against the government. Those basic laws will lessen the risks of rebellions and allow people to express their thoughts freely which will make people feel like they have more freedom. The government should shift along with society and adapt to their needs but too much freedom for citizens could lead to problems as well. They should give them enough voice but not too much that they will take advantage and overuse it. The system should be based on the society's needs and new rules and laws once in a while because everything in this world is constantly changing. The president should be chosen by how all the citizens voting and someone that is a very typical person but definitely with knowledge. When a huge decision is made, the whole country should be allowed to vote on it but if there are things less important, it can just be finalized by the government. Senators and mayors are needed to spread the information to the common people and to regulate things in smaller regions to reassure people are still satisfied with their government. Everyone has their own opinions and thoughts and sometimes will not agree on the same thing, but those ways are the best ways for a society to thrive.

  2. I think that there is no "best" way to run and organize a government. It all really just depends upon the group of people because everyone is different and could react very differently from another if being ruled a certain way. However if it had to be one or another I feel that having a democracy would be the best way to run and organize a society. The fact that the people get a say on things allows for freedom which people tend to like. At the same time the people aren't completely free since one person would be in power acting as a leader for the people. This shows the people that they have their own personal freedom but don't have to worry so much about what to do or how to thrive since they have a leader to guide them.
In order for the society to thrive rules and laws must be set to maintain order. Laws should be like how they were in the past with "Hammurabi's Code" but with not as lethal or harsh punishments. This type of law tells the people not to do anything bad or they will receive some kind of light to harsh punishment. Depending upon how severe the crime the person commited (which should be decided by a non biased court) was, an appropriate punishment should be delivered. For example, if someone steals from another the robber should pay some kind of fee or tribute to the victim or, if a person kills another the killer should face a death penalty or something even worse than death. With these kinds of laws and organization of government, the people in my opinion will thrive.

  3. I believe that the best possible form of government would be one that tries to satisfy everyone and their own needs. A type of government that would meet in the middle so that a majority of people are satisfied. Every single person has a different point of view on life and on how things should work; if there was a democracy everyone could express their own beliefs without feeling like they were restricted to do so. If people had someone to follow like a leader that could make a structure that would keep things together by making laws. People should have the right to vote for their own leader not someone to declare themselves as leader.

In order for a society to be able to thrive there must be rules and laws for people to follow. If there are no laws or rules set for people to follow then there aren’t any expectations of what is right and wrong or what is expected of the people. Actions made by the leader should be approved by the people and the government also shouldn’t be given the absolute freedom to do what they please without the peoples consent. When the laws are made people should be the ones to vote and the leader should make the decision that they feel would satisfy a bigger majority of people. People also need to feel that they are all equal to one another so everyone should have the same rights so that everyone can be seen and heard. These are the things that I believe that a society would need in order to thrive.

  4. In my own perspective, the best way the government can be organized is to keep us informed about everything that is going on, to give us information about ideas for laws before they set them out to the counsel and if the money collected by taxes and other wages will be used wisely. By that, I meant helping the needy or by charity work and use it for the benefit of all the people in the country. Another way a government can be organized is having a systematized rule for the senior citizens. They must have full privilege to their commodity and have more benefits as they worked hard for what we have now as a nation.

Another way the government can be organized is if the tourism piece will be monitored wisely. We must monitor our present environment, making it clean and presentable to the tourists. These rules will thrive by having disciplined leaders and followers. The best way is to have love for the country and its people, having a peaceful government and true officials will boost our economy making this place a wonderful place to live in. If the government is corrupt, it’s absolutely not a good example that leads the people to disobey the rules. The government should serve as a good example to their followers.

  5. I don't really know if there is a best way to run a government. All systems will show its flaws over time. However, an effective government should have some basic rights for its citizens. These rights should include the basic rights written in our constitution. These will ensure that the people of the country will not be oppressed. An oppressive government that controls the people by force and fear will not be able to last long as rebellions will happen. Protecting the citizens should be what the government is suppose to do. All governments should also have a system of checks and balances to ensure that one part or side of the government does not become too corrupt and controlling. The basic rights and the well-being of the people should always be the number one priority of a government and should always be preserved.
Since the people should be the number one focus of the government, they should have a say in everything the government proposes to do. If politicians become too corrupt, they should be able to overthrow them. Educating the population should also be very important. This is what ensures that the government will be preserved. Ignorance is what oppressive governments want and strive for. The people should never be oppressed no matter what happens. These are all the considerations and things I would apply to a government in our current age and time to ensure that it would last.

  6. In my opinion there is no ideal form of government. But if I would pick a form of Government or choose which one I would live in it would be like a republic. Where you would pick the person who rule over the nation every few years. But I wouldn't have tax in it. I think the rules o the government would be the same ones it is in this nation. Some examples would be "no killing,stealing,etc.. and if you break the law you would be put in jail for a set amount of time." and I think the order that must be preserved for a society to thrive is to give differnt people jobs that wold help the society & there would be money with differnt figures that is worth differnt amounts of money. And to get things you have to buy it with the money obviously. Artreau Sheppard per.5

  7. In my opinion there will never be the perfect government for any country due to different needs of different classes and kinds of people. But I think that there should be a government as close to perfect as possible. An preferable government should have different at least one person representing the different categories in their nation (class, gender, race) The more diversity the more representation and input for the government. A major issue in my opinion with the government in the United States is that there are barely any women in power. The fact that there had never been a female president is something unfair and has a bad influence towards sexism. I believe that women bring a different point of view and can provide different options to solve problems and having only one type of anything is a problem. Another aspect that should change from government is to avoid corruption by becoming more accountable. If the government cannot be open to the public and listen to the people, then how can they solve the problems? I believe any decisions like abortion and same sex marriage should be in the hands of the people not the government. Things like that are personal issues and not something that should concern the government. Complete control over the people's lives is wrong and causes rebellion. Overall I believe that the government should be open, only do good towards their economy, and be more diverse in order to do good.

  8. In my opinion a government should be run by not just anybody. Somebody with good integrity and knowledge of the community. Why would a rich person know anything about dealing with the ones in poverty. My opinion would lean more towards democracy instead of a republic. In my idea a good government is spending money on the things that build our future instead of carrying the burden to the next generation to deal with. The debts the the US owes to whoever was a big bill that may not even be paid in full until maybe the next century if the people in charge don't face the debt.
I would keep the laws in order to keep the people safe. A perfect government would prevent crimes and have less deaths if people understand and respect the rules. Occassionally the law would be broken only by human mistake not pure intent like our generation today. We would not have wars with other countries because what is the need? the world would be in perfect peace and no problem with foreign trade or terrorists. If e strive to be a perfect country, why is there no change. The politicians today don't care because they don't know half of what they are dealing with.
Another flaw in this government is fear of authorities. As the rich class barely deal with police, they don't know how the middle class and lowerclass have to deal with the ghettos, murder or death. The police lately have been using unecessary brutal force. Fear of being sent to jail for the wrong reason. That is why they rebel because the system automatically thinks because you look like a bad person you are one. My government would give a fair chance for those who can't afford a lawyer or know anything about defending themselves from big authority.

  10. In my opinion the best way a government can be organized is if everyone has a say in how they want their government to be like.
For example, the government could have annual meetings with the people who feel they have no say in how the government is. During those meetings the government officials would discuss ideas on taxes, laws, etc and they would give them a few choices on what they wanted. The citizens would choose between which idea they like the most. The idea that gets the most votes will be chosen. If a citizen has a problem with the idea chosen the government would incorporate all the ideas joined into one so that everyone has an equal say.
The whole idea can only be successful if the people who are in charge of the government are well-educated because who can’t have a president who isn’t educated about his/hers society. If the person in charge of the government is well-educated on how to be a leader and know about the world’s history and problems the government will most likely be successful. If the leader of the government especially knows a lot about the world and it’s political issues, the government will basically have something like a map to follow instead of just going off random things that they hear about. The government not only needs a good leader to represent them, but they also need citizens who are willing to put effort into making the government how they wish.

  11. A government is the process or manner of controlling a country or state and in my opinion the best way it can be organized is to allow the people of the country-the citizens have a say and a body of people carefully selected and elected by everyone to make important decisions. I also think there should be a leader who is elected by everyone because the country needs a representative to deal with diplomatic issues. However, the leader should have limited powers because he or she can abuse their power and lead the country in the wrong direction. All citizens should be provided the right to vote and express what they want so there can be improvements and changes to benefit the country. Giving the people rights and a voice reduces the chances of having rebellions and civil wars which can damage the unity and trust within the country greatly.

The government also needs a lawmaking body to provide justice and order within the country, without it there would be chaos with crime happening everywhere and people would not have a sense of what is considered right or wrong. The 'judges' within the lawmaking body should also be elected and very experienced and go through a lot of training to prevent corruption and any unfairness. There should be strict laws with punishments but not tense to be point where the people would live in fear everyday. Another key character is police or army who will protect the people of the country from everyday crimes to wars. It gives the people a sense of security and allows them to live freely. The people of the country should be satisfied with the government and have the choice to eliminate a leader or official if they feel it is neccessary or else the leader might become a dictator where everything is under his control and people will eventually rebel.

  12. In my opinion the best way to have a successful government is to keep everyone happy. In order to do this i think people of all classes should have say on how they want there government to be ran. Therefore, we should have reps all around the country for each state like we do now and they all have the same equality and should all be able to be heard across the country. i think this will help everyone can hear what other states have to say so we can all be on the same page and find a good balance because no matter what happens there will always be somebody unhappy with how they are living.

I think through the years there have been rules that have not been enforced as much as they should .i think in order to keep these rules crisp and understood every year we should go over rules and see if we still want them or not. The reason behind this is if we liked a rule we set up we should keep it. but if we didn't like it and no longer want it , we can disallow it. if we have a government like this everyone has say and its not just one person ruling over everyone which i think is the worst possible government.

  13. In my opinion i think we should have three branches of government. With three branches of govern we wont have to worry about someone being to powerful, unjust rules, people taking over our rights, and the collapse of our generation.

With this govern we dont have to worry so much. If one of our branches gets to powerful than we have the other 2 branches to help put out that fire and also we also all fairly have saying as to what going on. Since the branches representing us and are considering very important matters. Because animal farm had a monarchy, as in they only had one leader, Napleon he made the problems worse than they already were. If we follow this type of government we will also face those problems that were never fixed. so basically i think that govern with three branches would be a the best govern.

  14. In my opinion the best way to keep a government organized is to have the three branches. The legislative, judicial, and executive branches. This is a good system because its gets a lot of people involved and makes decisions based on what people like. They should also let people vote for what they want. This is so it keeps people happy and it will benefit everybody. There would also have to be more strict rules about guns. There have been way to many killings in the last year. I would keep the same punishments we have today for any crime that has been committed.

Even today people are not happy with some of the presidents laws and regulations. So this is why i think we shouldn't have one ruler. The three branches will help decide what's right based on the people and what they think. This way if one branch does not have a good idea for the country or state the other branches can over rule that one branch. Any law should be passed by what the people think and the three branches.

  15. Ok, so Im taking AP world so I got this topic. In a perfect government, there would be a ruler, but he would not have total total rule without reprecussions. He would be a fair ruler who listens to or has people listen to the issues of the nation. The ruler would also not be above the law by following them. Also, he would need some for of a cabinet, who would vote for or against the ruler's descisions. This would help the ruler from going overboard with his descisions. Also, the people of the nation would need a form of representation for themselves. The government cant be a monarchy where the king has the final say about everything. The common people need to be heard so that their opinions are addressed and possibly acted upon.

Finally, I know that states within the country will need to elect the representatives to go to the government to discuss these issues, seeing as how not everyone in the entire nation can walk to the capital to shout out their ideas. Also, the rich and powerful would not get to bribe representatives in descisions because if not, how would the common man get a say? Everyone must be heard for a government to be successful and run smoothly. And of course, a strong and powerful, yet non-threatening military to protect the land. The president would run all military operations, to make sure things go exactly as they are planned. You never know, you could have a general corrupted by the wealthy and not know it.

  16. In my opinion the best way to run a government is to be fair and keep everyone happy. But at the same time there is no best way because people may have diffrent opinions, and different things that they want from the government. But at the same time the government also needs to lighten up and start to listen to what people have to say, there is something called the “Freedom of Speech” right. Really there is no such thing as freedom because we have a government ruling over us with all of these harsh consequences. The only way to have the best government is to not to have one at all or have a group of people with a sense of humor.
Today the laws are really strict, there’s nothing you can possibly do without getting trouble. But sometimes the laws have to be enforced, for instant without laws we wouldn’t be able to thrive, because there would be crazy things happening all the time everywhere, so maybe people really don’t need freedom. They also need to enforce laws on everyone including police.

  17. I think the best way a government can be organized is by listening to what everybody has to say and to see what other people think how the government should be like. "Freedom of speech". Everyone has to be heard for a government to be successful and to be more smoothly because a lot has happened through out the past years. Thats one of my opinion.

In Mr.Ocon i learned about is the three branches which is: Legislative Branch,Executive Branch,Judicial Branch. It is about how they should have 3 ideas. So, if one has a bad one there is still 2 ideas left. These 2 ideas have to be chosen by the people. I honestly should we should have the 3 branches. These are my two opinion of the best way the government can be organized.

  18. In my honest opinion, I believe that a "good"government would be run by a leader, elected by the common people with a well fortified group of representatives. The government should give equal distribution of taxes, laws, and rules to everyone including the common people and the rich. There are many flaws when having government, such as having corruption, greed, power hungry, and control. A government may thrive when they listen and understand the citizens of the country. Without having the consent of people, they would end up having revolutions and revolts.

Also that the government shouldn't be in complete power, but in a sense in which that even the poor has voice in our society. We should a well established military to protect our people and your country. Order in our government would be that there would be people with strong leaderships. Basically, having a strong governed leader and representative is the best way to run a government in my opinion.

  19. In my opinion there can’t be an organized government. I feel there won’t be an organized government because they are the rich which don’t know how the poor feel with no shelter or nobody taking care of them. But it’s not only the government at fault it is also our fault for putting allot of pressure on them to make decision that will probably risk our lives. Governments don't let people sometimes participate in bad democracies. But officials are not as good choice makers as how people see it already. This is because they may not have a good outcome on the government. Plus, sometimes people are always complaining about something but when they want it they get it basically.
If the world was not all about having money all the time it would be horrible to say the least cause everyone wants something when using money. And if you were in the white house and you had to make decision it would be tough on you because you are in the big chair facing big problems which not easy for anybody including the government. The advantages of government know better than we do. Because they can solve issues more better than any other person can, and usually with better results. Government has a workload on their hands too.

  20. In my opinion, I don’t believe there is such thing as a perfect government but I do think there’s a right way of running a government. The right way the government can be ran is when people choose their own leaders and limit what the leader can do. Whoever gets the majority of votes from the people gets to be the leader for a term. Whoever the leader is has to understand that he is in that position for the good of the people and not to earn popularity. The government should be as transparent as possible and inform its people of everything that’s going on.
The perfect government should also be aware that every rule they make should be for the good of the people and not against them. In order for a government to thrive, the people and the government should trust each other to prevent fights and fraud. All the money the government collects from the people (taxes) should be used for only the necessary things and tell the people how their tax money is being used. If the people don’t like the way the government is being ran, then they should be able to speak up and be heard. The government needs to have laws that punish people for doing wrong; our current law enforcement is lacking that. All people should have the same rights, not caring what level class they belong in. The government needs to understand that people’s minds start to change over time and the government needs to adjust to those changes to make the people happy because after all that’s why the government exists, to make people happy and to keep things in order.

  21. In my opinion a government is a body that has authority to make the power to enforce laws within a civil, corporate, religious, academic, or other organization or groups. One way government can be organized is if the submit their yearly taxes to the senate so that every single cent will be monitored by the whole community making the place a peaceful environment without corrupt citizens. The government could be organized by looking over things like who their going to tax like the poor, rich or both. I think they shouldn't tax the poor people because they're already having trouble saving money for their food, insurance, school things for their children etc. Also, the rich people should pay more because they have more money than others and that may even out the taxes for all people. These are the things that I believe that a society would need in order to thrive. Jamela Gaddi--5th period

  22. My ideal form of government was inspired by the European philosopher, Jean-Jacques Rousseau. I was assigned Rousseau for our historical debate on government for Mr. Ocon's class and my view on government changed whilst reading about him. Over all, he believes that people are corrupted by society and government which I have actually come to agree with. Man is figuratively chained up by the government which denies them the freedom that they were born with. People are all born good but become corrupt from materialism and government.
We, the people, have become our own enemies. People are not simply born to be bad; they grow to be corrupt due to enforcement against their natural rights. Ideally, I would have our country split up into several provinces, all of which carry their own political views and values. This way, people have the choice to live how they please. This was inspired by Rousseau who recognized this sort of political arrangement while visiting a village in Switzerland. Each province will have a representative, chosen by the people through their preferred method, who will contact representatives of other provinces. These people will act as the peace makers to keep the country balanced and far from civil dispute.

  23. In all honesty, I believe that there is no best way that a government can be organized. In the past all that has happened is that men just cannot find a specific type of government that will not stay successful. As humans we are not perfect in any way so cracks and falls are bound to happen in anytime. And even if there was some sort of FAIR ruler that works with the people, corruption is going to occur sooner or later. All everyone needs is happiness but happiness is defined differently to all people on this planet. Greed is a power that runs with human beings throughout our life and has the ability to control it. We all want what's best and for each of us to be equal. But if greed stands in some type of way that could corrupt everything that's been done.
If the was to be a "best" form of government I think that only well educated people should lead it. And I'm saying it in terms of knowing about what's happening in society, how people are slowing changing, the dislike and likes of what people currently have, etc. Laws are basically set to keep those in check so no problems would occur. So as long as any unnecessary stuff is put out the way there shouldn't be much problems. Those who are in power need to know from the people of our society what is currently going on such as whats working, what we need help with, and more. But if any unfairness appears, that's when hate also does. An that's what throws people off into anger and creates so much hatred towards that current government.

  24. I believe that the best form of government is only ideal, I know that many people dream and think that it will happen today, but its not possible. What Mr. Lucero said in class today is true, "humans are the fault for the failure of governments." Once upon a time for every government(before it actually came true), it seemed like a perfect system that many people at the time wanted to live in. However, like always it got corrupted, and we have the twisted dream government we have today. It was ideal at some point in time, but I believe it could be better.
The ideal government is a small government with only a thousand citizens, even smaller than the Greek city states. The smaller the better, keep track of every citizen and become independent. Independence make people actually feel free. There should be multiple governments for about 20 years, then at the end of that period the world will see which system works best. I can't predict which system will come out on top after that test. However, I can say my opinion for the potential winner of them. A government that is filled with only common people, that don't get paid, they are only in government because they want to help out their society. They only get a little more than the bare essentials to live in their society. That will insure that they care truly care about their people. In addition to that monthly, every citizen is allowed the opportunity to write a one page essay to their government that tells them how they feel about their government and what they need to be changed. There will be a group of dedicated readers in the government that will read carefully and thoroughly every single letter, and tell all the ideas to the rest of the government and then the society has a vote on what the society should go through with first to make their lives better. A small society is best for this government so it is a lot easier to vote and really feel in touch with everybody and feel connected to their great society. Again, this only ideal, who knows if this government system I thought up with is the best or if it will even come true.

  25. In my opinion, the best way a government can be organized is one, which caters to the people of society. It should promote equality and the ideas of others to improve. In this government, the words of the people should be listened to and voting for laws will be available to all. The administrators at the top of the government will be voted on and this government should not be a dictatorship where one person has complete control over society. Basically a democracy is the best government in my opinion because it gives common people a say and helps prevent rebellion, as what happened in “Animal Farm.”

The best rules to enforce with a government should be simple and precise such as, do not do onto others, what you wouldn’t do to yourself. Laws should be suggested and created by the government through the ideas of the people and will be voted upon before enforcing. Order in society should be regulated by police, based on laws enforced by the government. Although laws are place, people should still be given a sense of freedom so they will not rebel.

  26. In my opinion the way "i think government should be best organized" ,well actually i don't think theres a best way for the government to be organized. Nobody's honest about anything, nobody ever follows rules. This can basically be put as a family , how we get put rules , how we're told to live a certain way, be a certain person, but there isn't a " best" family out there, you can get either too much or to little.

Regardless of what the rules are set for us, nobody actually follows them because at the end of the day they'll do what they want because the majority disagree with rules and do whatever the heck they want and then theres others that agree and actually follow the rules.

We need equal opportunities, everyone deserves to be treated equally. The United States already borrowed many of its ideas from other countries and cultures and combines them into something uniquely American.

I believe that the best way to organize the government is to think of the people, listen to their voices, make sure their rights are exercised and their needs are met, and give them equal opportunities and fair justice because the people are the foundation of the government. Although I believe that a government shouldn't force it's people to obey it's given laws or to do their work, I think it's important to introduce a little bit of fear, so that the people will respect the laws, their leaders, and each other. As they become united they become prosperous.

The given laws shouldn't be too strict nor too light, same goes for the punishments, they should just be right and should depend on the extent of the damages brought about by the crime. Everything should be fair. Justice should be served. It cannot be delayed because justice delayed is justice denied. The laws should be strictly enforced to everyone to bring peace, order, and harmony in the land.

  28. I believe the best way a government can survive successfully is being in groups. It can be an odd number so there could be a vote and one side will win. But a government need voices of its people of who they govern. The people view will have a major impact o n the government. The more the people agree with the groups in the government that country will live peacefully.

My government will have three groups to decide what the country needs. The people ask for what they want the government will agree to see what they can do. For laws the groups propose it the people giver their views on it and get to vote yes or no on the law. If everyone just works together there can be no problems.

  29. In my opinion the best way for a government to be organized would be for it to be equal for everyone in the country instead of just reaching out to a particular group of people. Our country needs a leader who they trust. They need to hear what they wanna here for once. There should be laws and rules that are suitable for everyone who has a role play as a citizen in this country. There needs to be more strict rules because whatever we as America are doing now, its not working. We need to step up and take a stand also. As americans we cant just sit here and watch our country go down.

We need a honest role model. The government needs to do a better job of doing there responsibilities. We need hope. Something to live for. We need less laws in stupid things that people dont pay attention too. And the more important laws need to be inforced more so that people can actually take these laws and take this country serious. If we want to be great we needto take a stand now

  30. In my opinion, I believe that there is no best way that a government can be organized, but I do have a perfect government in mind. Number one, I think that everyone should be equal. Not everyone can have a say of what that want/ need. That's what the government is lacking, being flexible. The school funds are low, and not that much money is going towards school. Some schools don't even have books, the latest technology, and even sports. We need more money to put towards schools to bring a brighter future into kids lives. Also, health care. Some people don't even have health care, and are even living on the streets. These are the type of things that we need to put our money towards. Not just on some unnecessary things.
Second, we need a leader. Someone who is well educated, and experienced. So much chaos is going on in this world which we need to put a stop to. Someone has to do something, and reach out to us people. Stronger laws need to be inforced, not to the point where it's too out of hand, but to the point where people will actually listen and obey to.

  31. In my opinion, the best way a government can be organized is by having a government just like the United States but with some changes. I think this is the best way to govern because as you can see this government has lasted a long time. The changes i would make however would be to make everyone equal. By having everyone equal there would be no intentions of taking or stealing for other people. Another thing i would change would be the death penalty. I understand that people do dumb things, but they shouldn't be punished in a cruel way like that.

Another rule i would change would about education. I'm pretty sure everyone wants to learn. Just because your grades are poor shouldn't mean that your education is over. I would allow anyone who wants to continue with school to go to college regardless of their grades. Also, there would be no credit score. There would be no credit score due to the fact that everyone should be able to buy what they want when they want to buy it. I believe that this government with these rules would thrive.

  32. The power of the flag is whatever people give it. To some a flag could mean nothing and to others a flag could mean everything. People could look at it and fell nothing while others look at it and geta ssense of prise because it symbolizes where they come from Andrew they are. A country needs a flag to show who they are, show their history and distinguish themselves from other countries. Many countries use them wherever they have the name of the country or by the entrance of the country.
A flag could represent both independece and control. It just depence on what the flag is created to symbolize. Like when the US became its own they created the flag of the United States to show its independence. But recently it has been brought to peoples athenshion about the flag that represents wanting slavery back, witch shows control.
political people use the flag to show that they go for our country. Many political people use them when they give speeches. If they dont use it people take it the wrong way. Taken for example Obama who didn't wear one once, he was called many bad names because of it. People didn't like him and thought he was against our country just for not wearing a flag. Now he wears one everyone because he is aware of how important a single flag could be for many. A flag for political people is very important because they could be based off of it.
